Troopers arrest Norfolk male for criminal trespass 3rd and criminal mischief

On March 14, 2023, Troopers arrested Dale G. Chapin, age 59 of Norfolk, NY for criminal trespass 3^rd, and criminal mischief. 

On March 13, 2023, around 11:03 p.m., Troopers responded to State Highway 37B in the town of Louisville for a report of a physical altercation. An investigation determined Chapin entered an enclosed area of the residence, would not leave after being asked multiple times.  The victim went outside to confront Chapin which led to a physical altercation.  Chapin struck the victim in the face causing the victims glasses to break.  Chapin fled the scene prior to law enforcements arrival.

Chapin was located, arrested and transported to SP Massena for processing.  He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Louisville Court on a later date in March.
