On December 29, 2022, Troopers arrested Dylan A. Velie, age 23, of Redford, NY for assault 3rd-cause physical injury. 

On December 29, 2022, around 8:28 p.m., Troopers responded to Farrell Road in the town of Saranac for a report of a physical domestic dispute. An investigation determined Velie and the victim were involved in a altercation which led to Velie biting the victim in the shoulder causing physical injury. 

Velie was arrested and transported to SP Dannemore for processing.  He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Saranac Court for a later date in February 2023.
