On September 27, 2022, at approximately 1:32 p.m., the State Police attempted to stop a motorist for a traffic violation on Remington Street in the city of Rochester.

The operator failed to comply and fled troopers through several city streets. The vehicle subsequently came to rest on Saratoga Avenue and the operator was taken into custody without incident. 

The operator was identified as Paris R. Gray, age 28, of Rochester. 

Gray was found to be in possession of a large quantity of Fentanyl, Cocaine, Crack, and numerous Oxycodone pills. Troopers arrested Gray for 3 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, (B Felony) and 1 count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree, (D Felony).  Gray is currently on parole and was remanded to the Monroe County Jail to await arraignment on 9/28/22.
