On September 17, 2022, at approximately  2:53p.m., State Police observed a 2006 Infiniti on SR 104 in the T/Webster with a forged dealer plate.  Troopers stopped the operator, identified as Esmeralda Martinez, age 24, of Rochester.  

During the investigation Troopers discovered an illegal loaded 9mm handgun in the vehicle as well as a quantity of heroin.

Martinez was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree.

She was arraigned in the Town of Webster Court.
