Troopers arrest Star Lake male for petit larceny

On March 13, 2023, Troopers arrested Braydyn M. McCottery, age 21 of Star Lake, NY for petit larceny. 

On March 8, 2023, around 11:09 a.m., Troopers responded to Dollar General located on State Route 3, in the town of Fine for a larceny complaint. An investigation determined McCottery entered the store, stole merchandise valued at $49.68 dollar passing all points of purchase without paying.   McCottery fled the scene prior to law enforcements arrival.  

McCottery was arrested and processed at SP Star Lake for petit larceny. He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Fine Court on a later date in April.
