New York State Police in Wayne County report the arrest of a Monroe County man following a shooting incident at a local campground.  Troopers responded to the Lake Bluff Campground in the Wayne County Town of Huron shortly before 8 p.m., Thursday for the report of an adult male victim who had suffered a gunshot wound to his upper body.  The victim was located nearby and transported by helicopter to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.  Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of Ryan N. Ange, 25, of Webster, NY for Assault 1st Degree (B Felony) and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree (C Felony).  It is alleged that Ange was involved in a confrontation with the victim who is known to him, and used an illegally possessed firearm to shoot him.  Ange was processed and held at the Wayne County Jail pending centralized arraignment. State Police believe this is an isolated incident and no immediate threat exists to the public. Troopers are also asking anyone that may have information regarding this incident to contact them at 585-398-4100.
