Troopers find stolen car, 10 pounds of marijuana during traffic stop in Albany

On March 31, 2021, State Police at SP Capital arrested 23-year-old Damani D. Julien of Albany, for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3^rd degree (D felony), Criminal Possession of Marihuana 2^nd degree (D felony), and Criminal Possession of Marihuana 3^rd degree (E felony).

State Police stopped Julien for a traffic violation as he traveled on Jay Street in the city of Albany shortly after 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. During the traffic stop it was determined that the vehicle he was operating had been reported stolen from the city of Albany. Julien was taken into custody and a subsequent search of his person and the vehicle revealed that he was in possession of approximately 10 pounds of marijuana.
