Troopers in Horseheads arrest an Elmira resident for Petit Larceny.

On April 16, 2022, at approximately 9:30 p.m., State Police out of Horseheads responded to Wal-Mart in the town of Horseheads for a female stealing items. Through the investigation, it was revealed, that Shakayla L Gelzer, age 28, from Elmira, did exit the store without paying for an item. 

Gelzer was transported to SP Horseheads to be processed for Petit Larceny, and given an appearance ticket for the Town of Horseheads Court on April 26, 2022, at 7:00 p.m.
