Troopers in Painted Post arrest 2 individuals for DWI while a child was in the vehicle

On Saturday, April 16, 2022, troopers from SP Painted Post observed a vehicle with a headlight out on Main street in the town of Campbell. A traffic stop at the Dollar General was conducted and Eric D. Evingham, age 48, of Savona, was subsequently arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a Child, and several traffic tickets.

Eric Evingham was released with appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Campbell Court.

While the patrols were conducting the investigation, Tyler D. Evingham, age 23, was observed pulling into the Dollar General and approached patrols.  Tyler D. Evingham was also arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a Child.
