PRESS RELEASE
 

On July 4, 2021 just before noon, New York State Police responded to a crash involving two vehicles at the intersection of State Route 28 and James F. Lettis Highway in the town of Oneonta. 

An investigation revealed that a motorcycle being operated by Anthony C. Masi, age 29 of Otego, NY was on State Highway 28 when he struck a Chevy Traverse that was on James F. Lettis Highway. 

Masi was transported to A.O Fox Memorial Hospital by City of Oneonta EMS then transported by LifeNet to Albany Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.   The operator of the Traverse was not injured. 

A further investigation revealed that the motorcycle that Masi was operating was recently reported as stolen. 

The investigation is on-going.
