Troopers investigate single motorcycle crash in Marathon

PRESS RELEASE
 

On May 27, 2022, at approximately10:05 p.m., New York State Police at Binghamton responded to a report of a motorcycle that crashed on Interstate 81. 

A trooper located a 2022 Harley Davidson that had crashed into a guiderail on Interstate 81 south in the town of Marathon. 

The operator, Daniel McPhillips, age 44 of Throop, PA was later located deceased. 

The investigation is on-going.
