PRESS RELEASE

The New York State Police is looking to connect dozens of unclaimed items with their rightful owners.

In August 2020, the items were discovered in possession of individuals that were arrested  at a local motel in Oneonta.  Troopers believe that the items were taken from storage units, sheds or possibly vehicles sometime during the summer months in the Oneonta area but no one has reported that they’re missing these items.  The items include jewelry, electronics, tools and household items.

New York State Police at Oneonta is inviting anyone who believes they may have items taken to stop by the barracks located at 199 Oneida Street, Oneonta, NY 13820 on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 between 1pm and 3pm.  You will need to have proof that the item belongs to you which could include receipts, instruction manuals, pictures, or even if you can provide some descriptors about the item.

Please wear a mask and practice safe social distancing.  If you need further assistance, contact NYSP Oneonta at (607)432-3211.

You must be logged in to view this item.
