Update 3/31: An investigation at the scene revealed that Mason G. Divis II, age 20 of Binghamton was traveling at an unsafe speed while southeast on Murphy Road. Driver of the FedEx delivery truck, Codi M. Odell, age 23 of Susquehanna, PA turned left in front of the motorcycle (failing to yield the right of way).
Divis was transported by ambulance to Wilson Hospital.
Odell was not injured.
Troopers were assisted by Broome County Sheriff’s Deputies and Broome Ambulance. The New York State Police Commercial Vehicle Unit and Collision Reconstruction Unit also responded to the scene.
The investigation is on-going.

On March 30, 2021 at approximately 12:40 p.m., New York State Police at Binghamton responded to a serious crash involving a motorcycle and FedEx delivery truck.
The crash occurred on Murphy Road at the intersection of Coleman Road in town of Binghamton.
An investigation at the scene revealed that the operator of the motorcycle was traveling south east on Murphy Road and the driver of the Fed Ex delivery truck turned left in front of the motorcycle.
The driver of the motorcycle was transported by ambulance to Wilson Hospital.
Members of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit also responded to the scene.
The investigation is on-going.
