On April 20, 2021 just before 9 a.m., New York State Police at Ithaca responded to a dump trailer on its side on Dryden Harford Road (State Route 38) in the Town of Dryden.

An investigation at the scene revealed that a 40-year-old male of Canajoharie, NY was operating a dump trailer and traveling south on Dryden Harford Road when he went off the roadway into a ditch, causing the vehicle to roll onto its side and spilling stone.

No injuries were reported.  A lawn along Dryden Harford Road was also damaged. The roadway was closed for a period of time.

Members from the New York State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit also responded.

The investigation continues.
