On August 30, 2020, State Police arrested 31-year-old Michael J. Valentine of Tupper Lake following an investigation of criminal mischief to a vehicle that was reported on April 24, 2020, in the Tupper Lake area, on private property. Valentine caused over $3,000 in damages to the victim’s vehicle that included a broken windshield, all four tires slashed, both headlights and tail-lights broken, both side view mirrors broken, and damages to the hood of the truck.

Valentine was charged with Criminal Mischief 2nd degree and Criminal Trespass 3rd degree. He was arraigned by the Piercefield Town Court. He was released to reappear in the Town of Piercefield Court at a later date.  

State Police were assisted by the Tupper Lake Police Department.
