Two Broome County residents have been arrested following a break-in that occurred at a residence on Wilson Hill Road in the town of Chenango. 

Troopers began their investigation August 11 after a homeowner reported that a known person entered their home without permission and stole tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of items.  The investigation revealed that several of the items were sold to at least one pawn shop. 

On August 13, 2020 New York State Police at Binghamton arrested Christina M. Martinez, age 28 of Johnson City, NY for the felony of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the fourth degree.  She was processed and released on appearance tickets to the village of Johnson City court on August 19, 2020.  

On August 27, 2020 New York State Police at Binghamton arrested Jamie M. Levene, age 44 of Binghamton, NY for the felony of Burglary in the second degree. Levene was already at the Broome County Jail for an unrelated crime with another agency.  He was transported to SP Binghamton for processing and then returned to the Broome County Jail.
