Two arrests for Driving While Intoxicated made by SP Fredonia

 

 

Over the weekend, Troopers out of SP Fredonia made two arrests for Driving While Intoxicated from two separate incidents in Chautauqua County.

 

On Friday, September 24, 2021 at 11:52pm Troopers responded to the scene of a personal injury accident on Rood Road in the town of Charlotte.  Investigation revealed that an 18-year-ol, had drove off the roadway and crashed his vehicle into a parked vehicle.  At the scene, patrols noted a strong odor of beverage alcohol and received verbal admissions from the 18-year-old.  He was placed into custody and transported to UPMC Chautauqua where he consented to a blood test.  SP Fredonia patrols are awaiting the results.

 

 

On Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 7:45pm Troopers arrested Patrick A. Cameron, 34, of Kenmore, NY for Driving While Intoxicated.  Cameron was stopped by patrols after passing a vehicle in a no-passing zone on NY-60 in the town of Pomfret. During the investigation, Troopers noted Cameron’s signs of impairment, as well as failure of standardized field sobriety tests.  Cameron was arrested and transported to SP Fredonia, where a chemical breath test revealed him to have a .12% BAC.  Cameron was released to a sober third party at SP Fredonia.

 

Both parties received tickets returnable to their respective courts for later next month.
