On July 6, 2020, State Police in Latham arrested 28-year-old Harold P. Miller III of Menands, for Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd degree (C felony), Unlawful Possession of an Ammo Feeding Device (B misdemeanor), Endangering the Welfare of a Child (A misdemeanor), two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (A misdemeanor), and Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd degree (A misdemeanor). State Police also charged 45-year-old Cleveland White of Bainbridge, for Endangering the Welfare of a Child (A misdemeanor), two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (A misdemeanor), and Criminal Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument (A misdemeanor).

 

State Police stopped White shortly after 11:00 a.m. on Monday, after he was observed committing a series of traffic infractions on I-90 in the city of Albany. Upon speaking with White, the Trooper observed signs indicative of drug use. A search of the vehicle revealed that White was in possession of suboxone and a quantity of heroin. His passenger, Harold Miller, was found in possession of a loaded handgun and magazine capable of carrying more than 7 rounds of ammunition. He was also in possession of a quantity of heroin. Four children were present in the car at the time of the stop.

Both men were taken into custody and transported to SP Latham for processing. Miller was subsequently transported to Albany County Jail to await arraignment. White was issued an appearance ticket for Albany City Court on August 4, 2020 at 8:30 a.m.
