On May 15, 2020, State Police in Queensbury arrested 50-year-old Philip Lyons of White Hall, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th degree (D felony) and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree (A misdemeanor). Troopers also charged 43-year-old Leisha A. Cristaldi of Glens Falls, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree (A misdemeanor).
Troopers responded to the Econo Lodge on State Route 9 in Queensbury shortly after 9:00 p.m. on Friday, to assist parole officers as they attempted to make contact with Lyons. Lyons was located in a room at the motel and was found to be in possession of approximately 2.8 grams of cocaine, a quantity of baggies containing heroin, and drug paraphernalia containing cocaine residue. Cristaldi, who was located in the room with Lyons, was also found in the possession of paraphernalia containing drug residue.
Both were taken into custody and transported to SP Queensbury for processing. Philip Lyons was subsequently turned over to Warren County Correctional Facility on a parole warrant. Cristaldi was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Queensbury Town Court on July 13, 2020 at 9:00 a.m.
