After an investigation into a residential burglary in the town of Princetown, State Police have arrested 33-year-old Shaheem R. Jones of Schenectady and 38-year-old Lauren H. Temple of Niskayuna, for Burglary 2nd degree.
On July 15, 2019, Troopers were contacted by a resident in the town of Princetown, after they arrived home from work to find that they had been burglarized. The victim reported that over $1,100 worth of electronics had been taken from their home.
Investigation led police to Shaheem Jones and Lauren Temple after they were linked to a vehicle stolen during a burglary in the town of Glenville. Search warrants were carried out on two residences, one in Niskayuna, the other in Green Island. Stolen property was found at each location.
Both Jones and Temple were processed and arraigned in Princetown Town Court. They were both remanded Schenectady County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash or $40,000 bond.
