Amarie N. Sears, 22, and Jasmine N. Milo, 24, both of Schenectady were charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree with Intent to Sell (a class B felony).  Sears was additionally charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree (a class B felony) and Milo was additionally charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th degree (a class C felony).

On September 24, 2020 State Police from SP Albany stopped Milo and Sears for a traffic violation as they traveled on the Thruway in the City of Albany.  Upon interviewing Sears, who was driving, the Trooper observed signs of drug use.  A search of Sears, Milo and the vehicle yielded several bundles of what Sears later admitted to be heroin (seizure pictured below). 

Sears and Milo were placed under arrest and processed at SP Albany.  Both were transported to Albany County Jail for arraignment.
