On April 20, 2020, State Police in Wilton arrested Brittany Maxwell, 38, of Glens Falls, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th degree (D felony). Joseph Reynolds, 24, also of Glens Fall, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree (A misdemeanor).

Shortly before 5:00 p.m. on Monday, State Police stopped a vehicle operated by Reynolds for a vehicle and traffic infraction, as he travelled on I-87 in Moreau. A subsequent interview and search of Reynolds and his passenger Maxwell, revealed that Reynolds was is possession of a digital scale containing suspected cocaine residue and Maxwell was in possession of approximately 3.6 grams of cocaine.

Both were placed in custody and transported to SP Wilton for processing. Both were issued an appearance ticket for Moreau Town Court on July 1, 2020 at 9:00 a.m.
