On January 11, 2022, at approximately 8:50 pm State Police patrols responded to the Gulf Gas Station located at 2300 Court St in the Town of Salina for a reported armed robbery.
The investigation has determined that three suspects and a suspect vehicle were identified as being similar to the ones involved in armed robberies under investigation by the DeWitt Police Department for a robbery that occurred at Zonen, located at 6697 Old Collamer Road East Syracuse, and the Syracuse Police Department. A joint investigation by all three agencies was initiated with assistance from the local FBI office.
Following a joint investigation, the suspects were identified as follows:
- Kasheem T. Thomas, age 19 from Syracuse, NY
- Quashawn D. Pettiford, age 32 from Syracuse, NY
Both suspects were charged with Robbery 1st degree, a class “B” felony. Both were arraigned and were remanded without bail.
A third suspect, Allen walker was also identified as a suspect, was recently the victim of a homicide in Syracuse.
