On October 15, 2021, at 3:04 a.m., Troopers on patrol observed a 2013 Honda CRV with no tail lights traveling on Pine Hollow Lane near Route 57 when they attempted to stop the vehicle.  The driver drove through a business parking lot and both passengers fled on foot.  Both occupants were quickly taken into custody.

During the investigation, it was determined the vehicle was stolen earlier from the city of Syracuse.

A 17-year-old male and a 15-year-old male both from Syracuse were arrested for Criminal Possession of a Stolen Property 3rd degree, a class ā€œDā€ felony.  They were issued family court appearance tickets and released.
