UPDATE; Correction State Police arrest a Weedsport resident for Attempted Murder 2nd Degree.

PRESS RELEASE
 
On February 6, 2023, the New York State Police out of Auburn responded to an address on Pople Road in the town of Victory for the report of an assault.  The investigation revealed that Christopher M. Laframboise (39 years old of Weedsport, NY) had attacked a Pople Road resident with an edged weapon multiple times causing serious physical injury.  Christopher M. Laframboise was arrested shortly after the incident pursuant to a vehicle and traffic stop on Egypt Road in the town of Conquest.  Laframboise was charged with Attempted Murder 2nd Degree, ( a class A Felony) and Assault 2nd Degree, ( a class D Felony). 
The New York State Police were assisted by the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office with this investigation.
