On May 25, 2023, at 10:39 a.m., State Police were dispatched to Juliano’s Greenhouses on State Route 5 in the Town of Schuyler for a reported armed robbery.  
While enroute, a second armed robbery was reported at McGill’s Tavern on State Route 5 whereupon the suspect fled in a wooded/residential area.  State Police, with the assistance of Frankfort Police Department , Ilion Police Department, Herkimer Police Department, and Utica Police Department responded and swiftly established a perimeter.  
The suspect was quickly located and taken into custody by State Police units.   The weapon and proceeds from the robberies were recovered.  

Noah G. Nichols, age 18, from Utica, NY was arrested and charged with Robbery 1st degree (B-felony), Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree (D-felony), Criminal Use of a Firearm 1st degree (B-felony), and Menacing 2nd degree (A-misdemeanor).  

Nichols was arraigned and remanded to the Herkimer County Correctional Facility in lieu of $150 000 cash bail, $250 000 bond and $400 000 partial secured bond.
