Vehicle Complaint leads to DWAI Arrest

On March 5, 2020 at approximately 3:00pm, Troopers out of SP Fredonia arrested Brian A. Blood, 41, of Fredonia, NY for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs.

Troopers responded to a 911 call about a reckless driver heading northbound on NY-60 in the town of Pomfret.  Troopers located the vehicle and observed it cross over the double yellow lines multiple times, almost striking vehicles heading southbound.  During the interview with Blood, Troopers noted obvious signs of impairment, admissions from Blood, as well as failure of standardized field sobriety tests at the scene.  Blood consented to a blood draw after being interviewed by a Drug Recognition Expert.

Blood was arrested and processed at SP Fredonia before being released on an appearance ticket for Pomfret Town Court later this month.
