Vehicle Complaint leads to DWI Arrest for Ohio Woman

On August 12, 2021 at approximately 1:20pm, Troopers out of SP Fredonia arrested Maianne F. Alianell, 42, of Columbus, OH for Driving While Intoxicated.

Troopers responded to a 911 call about a reckless driver heading northbound on NY-60 in the town of Pomfret.  Troopers located the vehicle and observed it failing to maintain its lane.  Civilian witnesses also reported observing the vehicle “all over the roadway.”

During the interview with Alianell, Troopers noted obvious signs of impairment, admissions from Alianell, as well as failure of standardized field sobriety tests at the scene.

Alianell was arrested and processed at SP Fredonia before being transported to Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment.
