On April 9, 2020, at approximately 8:56 p.m., State Police responded to Glomann Road, in the town of Chesterfield for a report of a one-car motor vehicle crash.
An investigation revealed that John E. Glomann, 64, of Chesterfield, was operating a 1999 Ford F250, on Glomann Road when he ran off the roadway and rolled the vehicle down the hill onto private property, and became stuck in the mud. Troopers discovered an open bottle of whiskey inside the vehicle. Glomann was subsequently arrested for DWI. He submitted to a blood test to determine the alcohol content of his blood. The results are pending. Glomann was charged with DWI, and was released with an appearance ticket for the Town of Chesterfield Town Court.
