Guilderland, NY – On June 24, 2020, at approximately 3:20 p.m., State Police stopped a car on I-90 in the town of Guilderland for a vehicle and traffic violation.  While interviewing the driver, probable cause to search the vehicle was established.  The driver, Brittany A. Lawley, 22, of Burlington, VT, was found to be in possession of over 58 grams of crystal methamphetamine, approximately 3.7 grams of fentanyl, nearly a ½ gram of crack cocaine, and clonazepam pills which were not in the original container. 

 

Lawley was taken into custody, transported, and processed at SP Albany where she was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2rd degree; a Class A Felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th degree; a Class C Felony, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree; a Class A Misdemeanor.

 

Lawley was transported and held at the Albany County Jail pending an arraignment.
