Ardsley, NY – On November 14, 2020, at approximately 11:00 a.m., State Police stopped a vehicle during a on I-87 in the village of Ardsley for a vehicle and traffic violation.  While Troopers approached the vehicle, the driver fled the scene and a pursuit ensued.


A short time later, the vehicle took exit 7, and lost control on the ramp, striking the guardrails.  The driver fled on foot.  Troopers conducted a search of the vehicle, an Infinity G37, and located 1.2 grams of crack cocaine. 


The driver, later identified as Cory L. Lee, 41, of Woodbridge, VA, was located by Dobbs Ferry Police Department and turned over to State Police.  Lee was taken into custody, transported, and processed at SP Tarrytown where he was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th degree; a Class D Felony and Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle 3rd degree; a Class A Misdemeanor.


Lee was remanded to the Westchester County Jail to be arraigned on November 16, 2020.
