On September 3, 2019, State Police in New Scotland arrested 25-year-old Paula M. Cantlin of Voorheesville, for Criminal Impersonation 2nd degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana 2nd.
At approximately 9:20 p.m. Tuesday evening, Troopers initiated a traffic stop of a vehicle observed traveling on New Scotland Rd in the town of  New Scotland, for a traffic infraction. As the Trooper interviewed the occupants of the car, front seat passenger Paula Cantlin, turned over a quantity of marijuana and heroin that she had on her person. She then provided the patrol with a false name to avoid being arrested on an outstanding warrant. Cantlin was taken into custody and transported to SP New Scotland for processing.
Cantlin was issued an appearance ticket, she is due in New Scotland Town Court on September 26, 2019 at 5:00 p.m.
