Over the weekend, Troopers out of SP Fredonia made two arrests for Driving While Intoxicated.

On Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 4:40am Troopers arrested Taylor N. Seneca, 23, of Irving, NY for Driving While Intoxicated after she failed several SFSTs on State Route 5 & 20 in the town of Hanover. Seneca was transported to SP Fredonia, where a chemical breath test revealed her to have a .12% BAC.

On Sunday, December 15, 2019 at 12:02am Troopers on patrol stopped Jose Carabello-Velez, 53, of Dunkirk, NY for traveling 82 mph in a posted 55 mph zone on Route 39 in the town of Sheridan. During the interview with Carabello-Velez, Troopers noted obvious signs of impairment, as well as failure of standardized field sobriety tests at the scene. Carabello-Velez was arrested and transported to SP Fredonia, where a chemical breath test revealed him to have a .13% BAC.

Both were released on appearance tickets.
