Wellsville man arrested for drug possession

On July 6, 2019, SP Amity Troopers arrested Shad R. Baldwin, 41, of Angelica, NY for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, Facilitating Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 2nd Degree, and Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Non-Original Container.

During a traffic stop on Stevens Street in the village of Wellsville, Baldwin was found to be in possession of buprenorphine hydrochloride and naloxone hydrochloride pills, for which he did not have a valid prescription. Baldwin was then arrested and transported to SP Amity for processing.

Baldwin was issued appearance tickets for Wellsville Village Court, where he is due to appear later this month.
