Westchester Real Time Crime tip locates vehicle reported as stolen

Cortlandt, New York - On December 28, 2022, the New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Jerami Davis, age 33, of Beacon, NY, for Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle in the 3rd degree, a class A misdemeanor. 

At approximately 12:30 p.m., Troopers received a law enforcement tip from the Westchester County Real Time Crime Center regarding a possible stolen vehicle in the area.  The stolen vehicle was located and stopped on State Route 9 in the town of Cortlandt leading to the arrest of Jerami Davis. 

Davis was processed without incident and released on an appearance ticket returnable to the town of Cortlandt court on January 9, 2023, at 9:00 a.m.
