An investigation began in March after Ferris’s employer contacted State Police.  The employer found that Ferris made several large markdowns and significantly discounted merchandise while working as a cashier at Target in the town of Lansing.  The investigation further revealed that Ferris caused a monetary loss of over $7,800.
