On July 14, 2020, at approximately 7 p.m. State Police responded to a residence on Hog Back Road in the town of Crown Point for a report of a trespass. The homeowners found an unknown woman asleep on their couch upon return to their residence. The woman was identified as 54-year-old Lety Cabrera-Arozarena, of New Haven, Connecticut. She was also found to have been operating a vehicle that was reported stolen out of Lake George.

Crown Point EMS responded to the scene and transported her to Moses Ludington Hospital in Ticonderoga for a medical evaluation. After her release from the hospital, Cabrera-Arozarena was charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th degree, E felony, and Criminal Trespass 2nd degree, A misdemeanor. She was released with tickets for the Crown Point Town Court.
