On May 4, 2021 at 11:30 P.M., Troopers out of SP Niagara arrested Kyle J. Wagner, 31 of North Tonawanda, NY for Driving While Intoxicated (Drugs) and numerous vehicle and traffics infractions.

On May 4, 2021, Troopers responded to a vehicle collision on the I-190 south bound in the city of Niagara Falls in an active work zone. Further investigation revealed that Wagner was operating a 2007 Jeep on the I-190 south bound. Wagner entered the work zone and stuck over seventeen traffic cones then went through six cut stops causing major damage to the Jeep near the Lasalle Expressway exit. No Department of Transportation workers were injured. Wagner failed SFST’s administered. Troopers transported Wagner to SP Niagara and a Drug Recognition Expert administered additional tests, in which Wagner failed.

Wagner was issued appearance tickets returnable to the city of Niagara Falls.
