Yorkshire man arrested for drug possession

On October 7, 2022, SP Machias Troopers arrested Richard I. Fancher, Jr., 28, of Yorkshire, NY for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree.

Troopers investigating a report of a trespass at a residence on Gooseneck Road in the town of Yorkshire discovered Fancher to be in possession of methamphetamine.

Fancher was arrested and released with an appearance ticket for Fancher Town Court, where he is due to appear in November.
